In response to the potential ban of TikTok in the U.S, a new social media app named Connyct has been launched, targeting college students. Similar to TikTok, Connyct offers features such as a personalized content feed, private chatting, video creation and editing tools, and an event discovery section. The app differentiates itself by requiring users to register with a student .edu email, ensuring that each institution has its own private network for students to interact and share content.
